What We Do

Every calculator on the site is free to use, requires no account, and gives you an instant answer. No paywalls, no email capture, no nonsense.
Why We Built It
We built Calculator Place out of frustration. Too many calculator sites are cluttered with ads, require you to sign up, or bury the actual calculator under paragraphs of filler content. We wanted something cleaner — a tool that gets out of the way and just helps you do the maths.
We started with the calculators we personally found ourselves reaching for most often: mortgage payments, BMI, percentages, and tip splitting. From there we expanded into finance, health, maths, and everyday calculations based on what our readers were actually asking for.
Who We Are
We are a small independent team of developers and content writers with a shared interest in making information easier to access. We are not a large corporation or a venture-backed startup — just people who like building useful things on the web.
We are based in the UK, which is why you will find our calculators often default to British conventions — VAT at 20%, mortgage terms in years, distances in miles — though most tools support both metric and imperial where relevant.
Accuracy and Limitations
We take accuracy seriously. Every formula used on this site is documented on the relevant calculator page, and we welcome corrections if you spot an error. That said, all results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional financial, medical, or legal advice.
